Applications are invited from eligible participants to apply for the Federal Government 3MTT National Impact Challenge 2026, a nationwide initiative designed to spotlight real success stories from the Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme and demonstrate how digital skills are transforming lives across Nigeria.

The 3MTT National Impact Challenge, formerly known as the 3MTT National Impact Reflection Challenge 1.0, was launched in January 2026 by the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy. The initiative encourages current and past 3MTT fellows, as well as programme partners, to share authentic “before and after” stories that highlight improvements in employability, confidence, career growth, entrepreneurship, and community impact driven by the programme.

The 3MTT National Impact Challenge also supports the Federal Government’s goal of measuring programme outcomes, strengthening the alumni network, and ensuring that digital skills lead to real economic opportunities for Nigerian youth.

About the 3MTT Programme

The 3MTT Programme has trained over 135,000 Nigerians across three cohorts, extended learning to more than 300,000 learners through community resources, and contributed to the creation of over 15,000 jobs and opportunity pathways nationwide. This challenge builds on those achievements by amplifying individual success stories on a national scale.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the Federal Government 3MTT National Impact Challenge, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a current or past fellow of the 3MTT programme
  • Programme partners or collaborators who supported 3MTT activities are also eligible
  • Submission must be based on real and verifiable experiences linked to the 3MTT programme
  • Entry must be shared publicly on approved social media platforms
  • All required hashtags and tags must be used for validation
