The John Innes International Undergraduate Summer School is a highly competitive research program that offers undergraduate students from around the world the opportunity to spend eight weeks at one of the UK’s most respected research institutions.

Program Description

Participants in the John Innes International Undergraduate Summer School will engage in supervised research projects across a broad range of biological and chemical sciences. The program provides an immersive experience in a world-leading research environment, allowing students to develop practical laboratory skills and gain exposure to advanced scientific techniques.

Students will also take part in weekly training sessions focused on professional development. These sessions include science communication, computer programming, field studies, advanced presentation skills, and career development discussions with alumni of previous summer school cohorts.
