Head of Financial Reporting
Location: Lagos | Type: Full-Time | Deadline: January 23, 2026
Role Overview:
The Head of Financial Reporting manages and coordinates the accurate recording and reporting of Egbin Power’s financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor annual Revenue Management (RM) goals.
- Investigate and resolve revenue recognition disputes.
- Coordinate monthly energy and capacity reconciliations.
- Review policies, processes, and commercial agreements affecting revenue.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accurate recording of payments, credit transactions, and reconciliation of balance sheets.
- Contribute to budget preparation and oversee unit-level budget management.
- Coach, mentor, and appraise subordinates.
- Ensure compliance with NDPR and other data protection regulations.
- Integrate QHSE policies (ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018) into departmental processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA) is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian power sector, wholesale electricity market, and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Excellent analytical, financial, and communication skills.

Head of Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE)

Role Overview:
The Head of QHSE leads plant safety and environmental management, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, Nigerian regulations, and international HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QHSE policies, guidelines, and programs.
- Monitor compliance with HSE policies across operations and maintenance activities.
- Oversee emergency preparedness, safety audits, and spot checks.
- Provide technical guidance to management on HSE matters.
- Promote safety awareness and improve contractor performance.
- Conduct HSE risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare reports for management and CEO.
- Implement NDPR-compliant data protection practices.
- Maintain the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 45001:2018).
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Social Science.
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Membership of ISPON mandatory; ASSP, IOSH, ECRMI preferred.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISPON Level 3, ISO Lead Auditor, etc.
- Knowledge of NERC HSE codes, Nigerian safety and health legislation, and international best practices.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and MS Office skills.
