Job Description
Lafarge Africa Plc is inviting suitably qualified young Nigerians to apply for its 2026 Technical Skills Development Programme, a fully sponsored three-year vocational training initiative designed for secondary school leavers who want to build strong technical careers in the manufacturing and industrial sector.
This programme provides hands-on technical training, industry exposure, and professional certification in key engineering and production disciplines within Lafarge’s operations.
Available Training Trades
Successful candidates will be trained in one of the following areas:
- Electrical and Instrumentation
- Mechanical Maintenance
- Instrumentation and Automation Technology
- Welding and Fabrication
- Cement Manufacturing Process (Production, Process, and Quality)

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be between 17 and 20 years old
- Have obtained a minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC or NECO, including:
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- One other relevant subject
- Have at least a pass in English Language
- Must have completed secondary school not later than 2024
