Job Overview
The Emirates Group is inviting applications from qualified graduates for the role of Senior Sales Support in Lagos. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, supporting sales operations, and contributing to the achievement of station and network commercial objectives.
Successful candidates will work in a team-driven environment, assisting customers with travel planning, ticketing, and Emirates products while supporting Customer Service & Sales Agents and Team Leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service to Emirates customers at all times
- Sell Emirates airline tickets and related products by identifying customer needs and sales opportunities
- Issue tickets in compliance with airline rules and fare regulations
- Provide accurate travel information, including passport, visa, health, and check-in requirements
- Promote Emirates products and services such as Skywards membership, upgrades, amendments, Dubai stopovers, and hotel bookings
- Support Travel Agents with bookings, special fares, and ticketing formalities
- Handle complex bookings, special services, and medical cases
- Assist Team Leaders and act as a point of escalation for challenging customer interactions
- Maintain accurate documentation, sales materials, and updated timetables
- Support end-of-day sales closure and cash/banking procedures
- Stay informed on Emirates Group updates, policies, and service standards
Qualifications and Requirements
- BA, BSc, or HND qualification
- Minimum education equivalent to GCSE or A-Level
- Experience in a contact centre, reservations office, airline, or travel industry environment
- Knowledge of airline fares, ticketing procedures, Skywards, and reservation systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage
- Must have the legal right to live and work in Lagos, Nigeria
