Job Overview

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and motivating a sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets, develop strategic market plans, and ensure exceptional customer engagement across their designated region. This role is crucial to expanding our brand presence and market share within Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Ensure optimal product availability and visibility within the assigned territory.
  • Report on sales performance, market insights, and team activities to senior management.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods sector in Nigeria.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail landscape and distribution channels.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop effective strategies.
